History

Estover OÜ’s history goes back to 1992, when the company began as cheese products wholesaler. Currently the company has become one of the largest milk product wholesalers and distributors in Estonia that in addition to the largest cheese selection on the market also offers ricotta cheese, cottage cheese, butter and yeast. With a market share of approx. 40%, the company is the leader on the Estonian cheese market. Estover’s best known trademarks include Traditsiooniline Eesti Juust, Hollandi Leibjuust Originaal, Piimameister Otto, Vene Juust, Hiirte Juust and Royal Blue. In addition to own products, the company is also active in marketing imported brands, and is among others, the representative of such world famous cheese brands as Philadelphia, President, Bergader, Galbani.

Export, which includes selling local milk products to the markets in Russia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany, is an important aspect of the company’s sales strategy.

The company is part of United Estover Group (UEG) along with Estover Piimatööstus OÜ and Eesti Juustu Tootmise OÜ. The company is based 100 % on Estonian capital and is currently an employer to more than 200 people.

The vision of Estover OÜ is to develop the cheese culture in Estonia by providing a rich selection of both local and foreign high quality cheese products, and to be an innovative and flexible seller on the Estonian and European market.

Estover’s future development directions are connected to offering values, i.e. in addition to our product selection, we also offer introduction to the essence of the products. The latter includes product trainings, cheese history, cheese culture, and also how cheese, as an indispensable food product, can be used with different food and drinks.
